This Gallery covers the ninth month of my stay in Spain and the one I spent in beautiful Madrid, i.e. May 1 to 31, 2021. I spent it while staying in a room in what used to be a wealthy people’s apartment who have since lost some of their prestige, though I suspect they’re not really suffering. They do rent out three of the rooms to long-term (or longish-term) tenants to supplement their income. The building is in a fantastic central area of Madrid and close to everything so a great spot from which to launch my explorations. Please enjoy the beauty of this region through my eyes.
